Notice of PM JUGGLING Logo and Name Change

PM JUGGLING has a new logo.

Additionally, the official brand name will change from

PM Juggling to PM JUGGLING.

We will gradually update our website, printed materials, and other assets with the new logo and name starting January 16, 2026.

The Designer of Our New Logo

Our new logo was created by Misaki Fukuda, who lives in Nagasaki.

Misaki is a versatile artist who has edited the juggling magazine "YANA" and produced photo books of jugglers.

Some of you may also know her from the juggling unit "CHOCOLING."

I had always wanted Misaki to design our logo when the time came for a change.

After meeting her again at JJF2025, I felt that "now was the time" and asked her to create our new logo.

The logo I had made myself 10 years ago was gradually starting to feel dated. However, I couldn't quite articulate what kind of new logo I wanted.

Given the vagueness of my request, I'm sure it was quite a challenge, but she kindly accepted.

Throughout the creative process, she carefully captured my unarticulated thoughts with numerous visual concepts, which I truly appreciated.

She understood PM JUGGLING's past activities and our philosophy of tool-making, and together, we explored "a shape that suits the current PM JUGGLING."

Logo Concept

The logo incorporates a ball floating in a round sky, overlapping with the shape of "P," to express juggling and a sense of playfulness.

The color concept draws inspiration from the scenery of "strolls" that are part of PM's tool-making process—the lines of mountains, the hues of grass, and the atmosphere of the sky.

Additionally, by leaving a slight blur at the junction of "P" and "M," we express the idea of juggling naturally blending into everyday life and the warmth characteristic of handmade craftsmanship.

The old grape-like mark is gone, and the words "PM JUGGLING" themselves form the logo, resulting in a simpler and more powerful design.

It expresses what's important while also being flexible enough to accommodate any future changes in PM JUGGLING's tool-making.

She created a logo that perfectly suits who I am now.

As an aside, I also love how the "PM" part looks a bit like an elephant.

Reason for using "PM JUGGLING"

When working on other projects, "PM Juggling" was often written as "pm juggling" or "PM juggling," which caused confusion for others, and I felt bad about it.

I want to simplify our activities.

Aligning with that desire, we have decided to standardize the表記to the uppercase "PM JUGGLING."

This was also one of the reasons I decided to change the logo.

My personal image is that while the letters are uppercase, their usage is like a small stamp, placed discreetly in a corner. In fact, I feel like the size has become smaller. (Apologies if this is unclear)
