Exhibited at the juggling project "IJU KEIKAKU"

We exhibited at the "IJU KEIKAKU" juggling event held on May 3, 2024.

The event will be held at a multipurpose space called "Suisei" in Nakano, Tokyo.

It was originally a dry cleaner's shop, a pleasant, open space facing a shopping street.

PM Juggling exhibited like this.

On the left is a machine for packing, a legacy of the dry cleaners.

I was happy to be able to put together PM's props with that specific to that location.

The event was titled "Versatile," a play on the phrase "Suisei tayouto (versatile)" used by the venue, Suisei.

The content of the day is also wide-ranging,

1. experience and play juggling
2. experience and play with new juggling equipment
3. public creation of building blocks( =Tsumiki) and play at Cafe
4. play with cozy juggling exhibits
5. watching and playing juggling performances
6. see, touch and play with various juggling props

In this way, the idea was to offer a variety of juggling activities throughout the day.

It's very good...

When Mr. Araki, the organizer, asked me to participate, I remember thinking, "PM Juggling is a performer too. I must exhibit something interesting!" I remember how excited I was.

In conjunction with this project, I resumed the production of "Sousaku otedama (=creative beanbag), which I had stopped for a while, and finally finished them into a handmade ball called and exhibited them.

It took about two weeks to make, but I think we had fun putting it together as a "Suisei tayouto (versatile)" tool in PM Juggling's own way.

It was a great opportunity for me to restart my Sousaku otedama project, which I had stopped making, and also to receive feedback from many people at the event.

I am very happy to have participated and I am very grateful to Mr. Araki for organizing this event...

When making props moves forward, it is when we engage with people in this way.

The event had a tremendous atmosphere throughout the day!
